About Us

QC Farm was founded in 2021 and currently focuses on the production, processing, and sales of Jingcong (Beijing green onions) and waxy corn.

Our leased farm is located near the urban area of Langley, and it possesses three magical characteristics that give our produce a unique flavor and quality.

Firstly, the owner couple of this farm immigrated from Hong Kong and Guangdong in the 1970s. They purchased the farm, built pig farming facilities, and operated them for nearly twenty to thirty years.

During this period, most of the pig manure generated was spread over nearly 30 acres of land. As a result, the farm's soil is deep black and rich in organic matter, differing from other nearby lands, thus enabling the cultivation of high-quality agricultural products.

Secondly, our farm has many guardian spirits, and swallows are one of them.

People on the farm are almost never bitten by mosquitoes or insects because large numbers of swallows consume many mosquitoes and pests.

It's rare to see swallows in urbanized areas because they have high demands for their nests and environment.

Perhaps all the swallows in Langley reside on our farm. This is because the large facilities where the farmer once raised pigs and chickens have been vacant for many years, and now they have become the best place for swallows to nest, live, and forage.

Another guardian spirit of the farm is the hornet.

Yes, you heard right, hornets. The farm is full of swarms of hornets and hornet nests. They help eliminate small pests that swallows and small birds cannot reach, such as aphids.

The valuable thing about hornets is that they will not harm you no matter how close you get. They will only attack if you intentionally or unintentionally disturb their nest, and this moment can be very dangerous.

Therefore, on our farm, we are extra careful to protect these hornets and their homes.
